Custom AI Solutions is AIMD's work on systems shaped around a specific problem, not a generic model. Companies and research groups arrive with a real healthcare challenge. Students define the goal, the data, and the constraints, then build an AI system that fits how that partner actually works.

That means more than a model in a notebook. Teams think through the workflow around it: what goes in, what a clinician or researcher needs back, and how the result holds up outside a demo.

The project is practice for building AI that has to live with real goals and real limits — the same conditions students will meet in medicine, research, and industry.
